Mayoral Candidate Forum in the Heights

A coalition of Heights organizations - aptly named The Heights Coalition, is sponsoring a Mayoral Candidate Forum, this Thursday, April 2nd, from 7PM - 9:30PM at the Christa McAuliffe School (aka PS > 28), 167 Hancock, Jersey City Heights. All five candidates for Mayor have agreed to participate. Downtown residents are welcome to attend.

Note that there will also be a downtown forum prior to the election.

The Historic Paulus Hook Association (HPHA) is hosting two important events for the Jersey City Community to get to know the various candidates in upcoming elections. These events are open to everybody and free! The candidates will present their platform and you will have an opportunity to ask questions directly to the candidates.

Board of Education Voting Party
When: Wednesday, March 18th, 2009
Where: Mandalay Clubhouse, 20 2nd St
Time: 6.30 to 8.30 pm (program to start at 7pm)
Purpose:
The Board of Education has three of the nine seats open this year. It is time for a change! The election will take place on Tuesday April 21st, 2009.

If you want to learn more about the significance of your vote, join us this coming Wednesday the 18th.

Please invite your friends. We will provide voting registration forms and Absentee Ballot Applications. There will be more information to follow on Google groups.
